Create Folders And Files With NO! (Without Any Name) Name

This trick will allow you to create files and folders without any name (Not Funny).

Just follow the steps as given below :-

1) Select any file or folder.

2) Right click on it, select 'Rename' or simply press 'F2'.

3) Press and hold the 'Alt' key. While holding the Alt key, type numbers '0160' from the numpad.

Note :- Type the numbers '0160' from the numpad, that is, the numbers present on the right side of the keyboard.
Don’t type the numbers which are present on top of the character keys.

4) Press Enter and the nameless file or folder will be created.

Reason :- The file or folder that seems nameless is actually named with a single space.

But what if you want to create another nameless file or folder in the same directory ?
For this you will have to rename the file with 2 spaces.
Just follow the steps given below :-

1) Select file, Press 'F2'.

2) Hold 'Alt' key and type '0160' from the numpad.

3) Release the 'Alt' key. Now without doing anything else, again hold 'Alt' key and type '0160'.

4) Press 'Enter' and you will have second nameless file in the same directory.

5) Repeat step 3 to create as many nameless files or folders in the same directory.

(We have a problem with deleting these folders, to do so, start your computer in 'Safe Mode' and delete it from there.) 

Idea launches Android-based dual-SIM 3G smartphone ID 918 at Rs 5,994

The third largest GSM operator Idea Cellular on Friday launched ID 918, a dual-SIM Android smartphone on the third generation mobile spectrum.

Idea ID 918 sports a 3.2-inches display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The device has 512MB RAM and runs on Android 2.3(Gingerbread) operating system. The phone boasts of 1300 mAh battery. The device has 150MB internal storage which is expandable upto 32GB. The phone also features a 3.2MP camera. As of connectivity, the phone has GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN, USB, Bluetooth.

The phone has been at Rs 5,994 and along with the handset, Idea is also offering benefits worth Rs 2,340 apart from a 2 GB data per month for three months after 48-72 hours of recharge.

The chief marketing officer of the company Sashi Shankar said that with the company breaking the Rs 6,000- barrier, will help drive usage with this dual SIM.

The overall 3G customer base in the country is currently estimated at nine million with Idea accounting for about one third of it.

This is the third 3G handset offering from the Aditya Birla group controlled company after Blade and Id-280, which together have notched up over 1 lakh units in sales since the launch last December.

Samsung launches dual-SIM Galaxy Ace Duos in India

Samsung has launched its latest smartphone dual-SIM Galaxy Ace Duos in the Indian market.

Galaxy Ace Duos sports a 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen with a 320x480 pixel resolution. The phone runs on Android 2.3 operating system (OS) powered by powered by an 832 MHz processor coupled with 512MB RAM and 3GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB.

Rupee drops 7 paise against dollar

MUMBAI: The rupee failed to maintain initial gains and slipped 7 paise to 57.08 against the dollar on fresh demand for the American currency from banks and importers.


The dollar gained strength against other currencies as well in the overseas forex markets. The rupee resumed stronger at 56.90 per dollar as against yesterday's closing level of 57.01 at the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) Market on selling of dollars by banks in view of some following some steps taken by the Reserve Bank of India.


However, it failed to maintain earlier gains and dropped to 57.08 per dollar at 1045 hrs after moving between 56.90 and 57.10 in the morning session. In New York, the dollar strengthened against the euro and other major currencies.

Virbhadra Singh threatens defamation suit against Kejriwal

Union Minister Virbhadra Singhtoday threatened to file a criminal defamation suit against Arvind Kejriwal if he did not tender an unconditional apology for "maligning" him, as the key Team Anna aide faced a privilege notice from a fourth MP for allegedly insulting Parliament. 

"I intend to file criminal defamation suit," the Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises said. 

Singh was named by Team Anna in the list of 14 ministers against whom it has demanded registration of FIR and investigation into allegations of corruption. 

Singh, a veteran Congress leader from Himachal Pradesh, said he has written a letter to Kejriwal to tender an unconditional apology for "maligning" his name and if his reply is not found "satisfactory" he should be prepared to face legal action. 

"If good sense prevails on him (Kejriwal) he should tender unconditional apology.... I am waiting for his reply to my letter.... If the reply is not found satisfactory he (Kejriwal) should be prepared to face legal action," Singh, a former HP Chief Minister, told PTI. 

Singh had earlier written a letter to Kejriwal seeking unconditional apology for levelling "baseless" charges. 

The fresh breach of privilege notice on Kejriwal was moved by Congress MP Jagdambika Pal. 

A Team Anna member said Kejriwal has received the letter from Singh as well as the privilege notice served on him by Pal. Pal in his letter to Speaker alleged that Kejriwal's remarks "demeaned the institution of Parliament, its custodian and its members". 

Apart from Pal, privilege notices were earlier moved by Rajya Sabha members Ramkripal Yadav and Rajneeti Prasad (both RJD) and Lok Sabha MP Sajjan Kumar Verma (Congress) following Kejriwal's March 25 speech at Jantar Mantar during which he raised the issue of 162 people with criminal cases being MPs. 

Kejriwal today stuck to his position and said he hadn't said anything wrong. 

"I will respond in a week's time. I have not said anything wrong. There is no question of apology," he told mediapersons. 

Kejriwal earlier struck a defiant note in replying to the privilege notices asking how can he respect the House which has 162 MPs with criminal background.

Shimla Court frames Corruption Charges against Virbhadra Singh

Shimla Court today framed corruption charges against Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises & former HP Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and his wife Pratibha Singh.

The verdict of Shimla Court framing charges against former CM of HP vindicates the stand of India Against Corruption (IAC). When IAC named him as one of the tainted ministers in Manmohan's Cabinet on Mar 25th, he had threatened a defamation suit against us.

We demand his immediate resignation. A person against whom charges have been framed by the court for corruption certainly cannot be accepted as a part of central cabinet by the people of India. We demand that he should not be the CM candidate of Congress in forthcoming assembly elections in HP. Because if he becomes the CM, then he would decide the prosecuting and defense counsel both, which would make a mockery of this case and cause direct conflict of interest.


This verdict also shows that the evidence presented by IAC against the 15 ministers is credible and actionable. Mrs Gandhi had said that our allegations were baseless. This verdict shows that the evidence presented by us is not baseless.


After all, what are we asking for? That investigate allegations of corruption against 15 ministers. They refuse to even investigate. PM has categorically refused to get any independent investigation done in these cases. This is unfortunate. We are confident that if independent investigations were done in these cases, most of these 15 ministers would be in jail.


If govt does not set up independent inbestigations, anshan would take place from 25th July at Jantar Mantar.

Arvind Kejriwal Speaks About Kingfisher Issue

Yesterday I was offloaded from Kingfisher flight to Dharmsala. The entire incident is quite bizarre. Was it just the result of callousness of an airline or was it the handiwork of different forces that are out to sabotage the fight against corruption?


I was on my way to deliver Anna's message in Kangra. I was asked not to board the flight despite undergoing all security checks and having a stamped boarding pass.




Today there is a Public Gathering in Kangra organized by India Against Corruption volunteers. As you must be aware we are on a national yatra to spread Anna.s message related to 25th July across the country. I am on my way to the venue but now by road. Let me take you through the entire incident as it unfolded yesterday.




The flight from Delhi to Dharmsala was scheduled at 2:55 PM yesterday and was delayed by more than 1 hour. I had checked in online and reported good 75 minutes before the departure at the airport counter. Kingfisher staff stamped my boarding pass (attached) and asked me to wait for the boarding call. The boarding was announced around 3:30 PM and I got in the queue to board.


Just at the boarding gate when they scanned my boarding pass the machine gave an error. The Kingfisher staff asked me to step aside. They allowed all the passengers to board the flight while I waited for my turn. Once the boarding was complete they asked me to leave the scene saying that my ticket has been cancelled!!!


I asked them how is it possible that when I have a stamped boarding pass, my ticket has been cancelled. They said that the airlines had called me around 2:45 PM and asked me if I want to fly. According to Kingfisher I answered that call and that too in negative i.e. I said that I do not want to fly. This was ridiculous. First of all I did not answer any such call . the call is still in my missed call list. Secondly, when I had taken the boarding pass, how could the airlines cancel my ticket when I was physically present to board it?


Friends, I have been facing such apathy and I am sure each one of you who has raised his voice must be facing such treatment at some level or the other. Such experiences go onto only strengthen our resolve in the fight against corruption.


Anna.s message has to reach each and every corner of the country and I am on my way to deliver it in Dharamsala.

Running Multiple Instances of Google Talk

User of Google Talk (GTalk) can also let GTalk go to polygamy, that\92s running multiple instances of Google Talk and login to multiple Google accounts on Google Talk. The polygamy trick can be done without any crack, patch or hack, with just a simple command line parameter or switch /nomutex appended to the Google Talk shortcut.

Ability to polygamy running multiple Google Talk is useful if users have multiple Google Talk accounts (or Google or Gmail accounts that used to login to GTalk) or multiple profiles or personalities, and don\92t want to log on and off from one account to another account every time when want to switch, or want to log in to all accounts at the same time on the same computer.

You can add the /nomutex switch or parameter to existing Google Talk shortcut, or create a new shortcut with the /nomutex command line parameter.

To edit existing Google Talk shortcut:

1) Right click on the Google Talk shortcut.
2) On the right click contextual menu, click on Properties.
3) Go to Shortcut tab on Google Talk Properties window.
4) On the Target textbox, add in the /nomutex to the end of the line so that it looks like below (or you can simply copy and paste the below syntax and replace the original).

Target: "C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe" /nomutex

5) Click on OK.


To create a new shortcut for Google Talk:

1) Right-click on the desktop or anywhere you want to place the GTalk shortcut.
2) Select New on the right click context menu.
3) Then select Shortcut.
4) Copy and paste the following line to the text box when prompted to type the location of the item:

\93C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe\94 /nomutex

5) Click on Next
6) Give the shortcut a proper name such as Google Talk or Google Talk Multiple or Google Talk Polygamy or anything els you want.
7) Click OK untill you are done.

If you have hex editor, you can act like a hacker and modify the bits in Google Talk program so that it will always allow multiple instances of Google Talk to be launched whether the /nomutex switch is specified or not.

Launch hex editor and open googletalk.exe, then search for the following patterns in the hex editor:

004536FF . 75 05 JNZ SHORT googleta.00453706

Modify the string to look like the following:
004536FD . 8BC1 MOV EAX,ECX

How this Works?
The mutex is short for mutual exclusion object.
A mutex is a program object that allows multiple program threads to share the same resource, but not simultaneously.

So, in the hack above, we used nomutex (no-mutex) to use the same resources simultaneously....!

Customize “Add New Post” Area in Wordpress 2.7

If you love to edit your post on your browser rather than a vast availability of desktop clients, you probably might have got disappointed after the wordpress upgrade to version 2.7. With new version, the add new post page has a very narrow area to edit the post and does not provide a favorable environment for you to edit.

Today I discovered that the side pane in the right side of the text area are all drag and droptype and we can move them below the text editor area. Fix Rich Text Editor Problem in Wordpress

After I upgraded my wordpress to version 2.5, I fell off with one more problem. The rich text editor did not appear and I did not want to write each post as html code.It would be a tough matter to write all the posts as html and publish. Windows Vista Error (0×8004240f): Complete Solution

Few days back I am dealing with an error which no where has solutions all over the internet. Just three days back, I bought a Dell Inspiron Laptop and in the very second day, I wrecked it. It was the error with code 0×8004240f. I will make everything a clear note as at least someone will find it useful. Also, here I am going to write what I did and how I fixed my system. I cannot be held responsible for whatever mistake you do by referring to this post. The issue will be dealt in enough details and read everything clearly before you start work. If you are covered under warranty, its better to call the support team. 

Now First, how this originated. As you know all company setup systems come with a standard partition. Even this Dell Inspiron model was shipped with two partitions with one for recovery section of size 10GB (may vary for you based on your OS, mine is Windows Vista Home Basic Edition) and rest for the OS and installed applications. I tried Partition Magic to get my hard disk divided as my desire, but this had the issue. I over trusted the Partition Magic and ignored the OS warning that this software is not compatible with this version of Windows. And the installation itself had a problem, it asked to make some changes to the hard disk. The next reboot could not start the OS, it resulted in blue screen of death followed by an automatic restart. 

Now Next, I tried to restore the notebook to factory settings, even this did not work. Next plan was to reinstall the OS. Here I found the problem. I tried to install the OS onto the large partition (some 222GB of 250GB HDD). The intention was to safeguard the recovery partition. By this time and I noticed that the large space was entirely named as unallocated space. Creating a new partition of that unallocated space was in vain. Each try resulted in the same0×8004240f error. If you search for this error, you will find a lot of entries, but visiting each link results in same forum entry, same replies and NO SOLUTION. Some MBRWORK is the solution they say, but it did not work for anyone based on those discussions, even it did not work in my case. 

I found the error details in Microsoft site, but details were for some high disk space servers, not these laptops. Now, I decided to make use of that 10GB partition, thought that would be an easy solution. But it was not, Vista requires 16GB+ disk space to install. Follow the practical steps I did. 

Deleted the 10 GB partition. 

Recreated the 10 GB partition. This also created the other 222.8 GB partition, even I did not expect that. 

Next, I tried to install the OS into this large space, the following error popped up: 

Windows could not format a partition on disk 0. The error occured while preparing the partition selected for installation. Error code:0×80070057 

Next, format the partition. 

Delete > New > Format – these are the next steps I followed. 

Then install the Windows Vista OS. Let me make it clear, my partitions were 25GB, 25GB and it did not allow me to create partitions of the rest unused disk space. 

There were no problems with the rest part of installation. Installing OS was successful. But the hard disk partitioning was still a nightmare. I only had those 25GB partitions along with the 10GB partition which was empty. One among the 25GB partitions were installed with Vista. 

And still some 175GB+ space was unallocated. I tried to create a new partition from Vista Disk Management. You can access it by right click on Computer in start menu, click on Manage > Storage > Disk Management. It did not work. 

Finally, I could Extend the existing last partition(25GB) to include all unallocated space, this worked. Then all disk management was easy and quiet. 

What I should have done to partition hard disk in Vista? 

I don’t knew about Vista Disk Management. Windows XP has the disk management tool, but partition made with this results in destruction of all data in your hard disk. But Vista Disk Management does not destroy any data on your system. Its wise and easy to use Disk Management tool in Vista.

Upgrade XP/Vista to Windows 7 to Secure from April 1 Worm/Conflicker Virus

Microsoft in order to provide more security updates and prevent the ill effects of upcoming April Fool Conficker worm, has recently released security updates which convert your Windows XP and Vista into partly Windows 7. Current Windows 7 beta users are said to be little safe due to the advanced security features of the latest OS.

The company recent press release says Vista is more safer than XP and Conficker C target more on Windows XP due to the high usage statistics and popularity of Windows XP. This worm after entering the Windows based computer systems, is going to multiply in a random number which is proportional with the processor speed measured in Million Instructions per second.

With your system being upgraded to Windows 7, it ensures that Microsoft could release security updates very easily to your system and it is recommended that you don’t turn your automatic update off. With automatic updates, you will be able to receive all security patches which can block conficker virus entering your computers.

Users are also recommened to upgrade to the latest Internet Explorer 8 manually, this update will not be included in this Windows 7 Conversion tool. Mozilla has clarified that recent versions of Firefox are free from all security holes. Its better for you to switch to Firefox if you still use IE, if IE is only option for you, just update.

Microsoft also has released few precausions to be taken to avoid the worm into your computer. Here it follow:

1. Always run Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool.

2. Turn on your Automatic Security Updates.

3. Create a system restore point.

4. Use Antivirus, Antispyware and firewall programs and keep everything updated till the previous hourly update.

5. Turn off your wireless and bluetooth as these may also affect other computer in your network which are not connected directly into internet.

6. Download softwares should be turned off. You should not download any kind of stuff from any part of internet as these worms are also pointing into different servers. Only you should download security updates from Microsoft and also, they will be pushed automatically and you should not download them through browsers. Using torrents and other download softwares is a high risk.

7. You should avoid use of few Windows utilities like Calculator, Narrator, Sound Recorder etc, but using the Windows Media Player is safe as this virus is not targeting audio and video formats.

8. If you have third party softwares, its safe and wise not to use them. Its even better for you to uninstall those which are from non trusted sources. Even few trusted third party softwares which connect to internet have few loop holes and it may be a path way for conficker worm.

9. If you are good at registry tweaks, associate all your .exe files to open safely with Windows Explorer. If you are not an expert, please leave this option, next security update will fix all issues for you. A minimum mistake in following this procedure may make your computer inaccessible.

10. If any third party software requires your system to be restarted, please don’t allow the restart. If you want to turn off the computer, use the hybernate option. Turning off or restart INITIATED BY VIRUS may make your Windows installation corrupt.

11. Vista users should turn on User Access Contol in Control Panel. Control Panel > User Accounts.

Double Click on the downloaded file and you will be prompted with registry editor warning about the updating. Press Yes. This registry entry will fix some open ports on your computer which ensures security for your unused essential ports.

This is entirely different tool than any of the Windows updates. Open the file by double clicking, it may take aproximate 5 minutes to fix all the bugs in your computer. In some cases, you may be asked to allow for downloading high featured security updates. This usually happens when you have turned off automatic updates for a long time.

Run Windows Applications on Linux and Mac

New Linux or Mac users will mostly find it difficult to use those operating systems. The sole reason behind this is windows addiction. We are all adjusted with Windows and it becomes a tough job to accept to the new foreign environment. That time you wish to have all windows softwares are available for Linux. Now, even you can run applicaitons of Windows on Linux, FreeBSD and also MAC.

Though Wine is still under development and not ready for general public usage, people have already started using it and finding the right advantage of the software. There are few third party applications built on Wine and you can make use of them if Wine doesn’t work for a particular application.

Change Functional Key Behavior in Dell Laptops

As we all know, laptops have functional keys which are also equipped for some other operations. I use a Dell Inspiron laptop and when I bought it, the default association for functional keys were the ‘other’/multimedia functions and not the functional key general behavior (like help, save etc). This annoyed me as I used Alt+F4 (close), and F5(refresh) features regularly and each time, it required to be pressed along with Fn Key. Here is the solution for Dell laptops.

This is simple, I never tried for solution, but I found it while working on something else. The solution for this exists in BIOS (don’t know if its on Windows too). While POST(booting time), press F2 (no need of Fn key at POST) to enter into BIOS settings page. Click on System Configuration > Function Key Behavior. Here you can change how your Function Keys work. The figure shows the setting for having the Function Key first and Multimedia keys work when I press Fn key along with Function Keys.

Change Time Format in Windows

Many of the visitors here use Windows Operating System. The most common observation is that people use the same installation done by their dealer for years without even restoring the backup they have been provided. Its better for users to reinstall Windows after some time as there may be some performance changes during the period of time due to repeated installation and removal of third party software.

Usually the time format after a fresh Windows installation will be in 24 hour format which is most undesirable for many of the users. You can change time format from default 24 hours to 12 hour format just within few seconds. Here is how one can achieve that. Just go to

Control Panel > Regional and Language Options

And, click Customize this format button. Now you will be shown up with customization window, Just go to time tab.

The default 24 hour format will be displayed as HH:mm:ss. If you want to change time format, you need to change the way as you wish depending on the instructions / notations given in the image. In simple words, if you want to have your new time format to be of 12 hour type,  modify the default HH:mm:ss to hh:mm:ss. Now you will see the changes come into effect after you click Apply / OK. The same procedure work fine with Windows XP or Windows Vista.
